The General Assembly is the main committee of the Austrian Library Network. At the General Assembly, the heads of the member institutions and the management of the association headquarters meet in order to decide on the strategic direction and the joint approach of all institutions represented in the Austrian Library Network.
The General Assembly issues and changes the statutes of the Central Editorial Office and the Advisory Board of the Local Library Systems of the OBV. Furthermore, it has the authority to appoint working groups to prepare the basis for decisions.
